is the safety of its students, faculty, staff , and visitors.
The B-ALERT system is used by the UAB Emergency
Management Team to communicate severe or inclement
weather and emergency situations through a combination
of text messaging, e-mail, and automated telephone calls.
Sign in with your BlazerID, and sign up to receive these
notifi cations.
In addition to receiving B-ALERT notifi cations, ask your
supervisor about any special requirements or emergency
and weather-related procedures related to your work
area or building.
