The continent of WEsteros is controled by the realm of the Seven Kingdoms. It is ruled by a king, along with the Hand of the King and the Small Council.

Winterfell

A large castle in the North and ruled by the Starks, Winterfell is located along Kingsroad, the path from The Wall to King's Landing. It is atop of hot springs to keep it warm even in the coldest winters.

The Twins

Sometimes known as The Crossing, The Twins is a castle in the Riverlands. It is made up of two large towers and a connecting bridge. The Twins is the only crossing point over the Green Fork for hundreds of miles.

The Wall "Castle Black"

A colossal fortification stretching over 300 miles along the north border of the kingdoms. It was supposedly constructed using magic to defend the realm from wildlings and White Walkers. Reported to be over 700 feet high and made of solid ice.

The Eyrie

Located in the Vale of Arryn on the east coast of Westeros, it is approached by a narrow road and straddles the top of peak in the Mountains of the Moon.

King's Landing

The captital of the Seven Kingdoms, King's Landing is the site of the Iron Throne and the Red Keep. It was founded by King Aegon I Targaryen (Mad King).

Casterly Rock

Stronghold of House Lannister on the western coast, it overlooks the city of Lannisport and the Sunset Sea. The Rock is located above a major goldmine and provides the Lannisters with their wealth, being the most productive in the realm.

Highgarden

Regional capital of the Reach, it is ruled by House Tyrell. Highgarden sits on Rosaroad, linking Oldtown and King's Landing. It is located near River Mander.
