Introduction
Snails are typically eaten in the Balearic Islands
and in the rest of the territories of the ancient
Catalan-Aragonese Crown. They are mainly eaten
the day of Saint Marc (April 25th), because it is
said that whoever eats snails during the Saint Marc
festivity will be healthy.
