We’ ve had some new arrivals on the farm recently including two new lambs, one of which was born on the farm and a number of ducklings. The trainees have decided to call the lamb‘ Ramsey’ after it’ s parents Rammy and Lambsey.
Auction
We will be holding an auction on Saturday September 10th at the Anglesey Arms Hotel in Menai Bridge in memory of Wendy Jones – Owen and to help raise funds. We hope that parents, carer and service users will be able to join us and Wendy’ s family for this auction. We would like to thank Geraint from the Anglesey Arms for arranging the evening. We would also be incredibly grateful of any donations towards the auction.
Vision Group
We will shortly be holding a vision group. This group will meet to discuss the development of the farm and will look at new possible income streams for the charity. The group will be chaired by our new trustee Mike Hawkes. Your thoughts and ideas are needed to help shape the future of our charity. If you would like to be part of this vision group please contact Michelle Freeman ceo @ tyddynmon. co. uk You also may also send ideas to the group by emailing Michelle. We are interested in hearing from service users, parents, carers and other stakeholders. Be a part of our journey!
Laptop Donation
We would like to say a big thank you to Ysgol David Hughes, Menai Bridge for kindly donating four laptops to us recently. The laptops will enable us to begin a number of new projects with the trainees and will allow them to develop their computer skills.
New Volunteer
We would like to welcome a new volunteer to the farm, Roger has recently joined us and will be working with the trainees in the wood workshop. They have already been making a number of fantastic new items such as the bench and bird feeders pictured, which will be on sale at our upcoming summer fair.
