Ysgol Y Bont Visit

New Website

On the 22nd of October we were pleased
to be invited along with other care
providers to Canolfan Addysg Y Bont in
Llangefni, for their parents and carers
coffee morning. The morning was a great
opportunity to meet other providers and let
people
know
more about what
we do and what
we can offer
people
with
learning disabilities. Barry and
Drew would also
like to say thank
you for their tour
around
the
school.

Work is continuing on producing our
new website, a couple of web
meetings have been held with staff,
trainees and carers to discuss
aspects such as colours, content and
design. The new website is expected
to be completed in the first quarter of
2016.

Textile Recycling Banks
Over the last couple of weeks we have begun
the process of replacing all of our textile banks
across the island. The 19 old banks, which
had begun to rust and fade from the weather,
will be recycled and replaced with new banks,
which will feature a board above them to help
us advertise upcoming events and activities.
The trainees have also been working hard out
on the van in the last few months collecting
textiles from the banks and unloading them at
the recycling centre on the farm. If you would
like to donate your unwanted textiles a full list
and a map of the locations of our textile banks
can be on our website.
