Turbo Pasta Bake by Shaughn Devlin
Hi, my name is Shaughn Devlin and I live in Elenfa in
Holyhead. Today I went to Tesco where I bought with
my carer the ingredients to make turbo veggie pasta.
Pasta is one of my favourite things to eat. Yum. When
I got to Tesco we parked on the roof and I went down
the escalator. This is something that I have only
recently built up the courage to do and now I love to
use it. I then went around the store collecting all the
ingredients off my shopping list before paying for them
at the till. I used the self service till and paid for my
things. Once I got home I chopped up all of the
vegetables ready for my turbo pasta bake. I learnt my
chopping skills when I was in Ysgol Y Bont. Once they
were ready I softened them in a pan before adding
them to un cooked pasta. I mixed in 2 jars of
Homepride pasta bake sauce and the baked it in the
oven for 40 minutes. Once it was nearly cooked staff
helped me to get it out of the oven and I put sliced
tomatoes and loads of cheese on top. I was going to
take another picture of my finished meal but it
disappeared so fast i didn’t get a chance to!!!
Everyone really enjoyed my turbo pasta and I am
going to make it for my mates again soon.
Recipe:
3 x Courgettes
2 x Onions
2 x Pepper
Bag of pasta
2 x jars Homepride pasta
bake sauce
3 x tomatoes
Loads of cheese
Chester Sports Day By David Arfon Jones
On Sunday 13th of September I went on a coach to the
rotary club sports day in Chester. I got up really early to go
but it was worth it!! I played darts, cricket, golf, bochia,
bowls, cycling, curling, basketball, archery and a penalty
shootout. I scored three out of three goals. I enjoyed darts
the most, I nearly got the record for the day. I liked playing
cricket, I was hitting the ball really far. The bicycles were
really good, they went really fast. I was please to beat my
support worker Sarah at curling. I enjoyed seeing all my
friends, we all won a medal. I was really happy all day. I
had a great time dancing at the end and can’t wait to go
again next year.
