! welcome … to the Spring 2018 edition of TY UPDATE, the first one for 2018. ! With the cold weather behind us (holding thumbs…) and Easter around the corner, we’re headed for the final stretch of yet another year, and what a year it’s been… ! A special TY Update welcome to Aidan Clerkin who featured in our March 2017 edition and who has agreed to a regular contribution to this magazine. His research-based perspective on Transition Year is much appreciated. ! In this edition we look at the innovative and exciting Future Leader TY programme. KILDARE Critical Thinking workshops, phase one of which we ran with St. Aloysius Secondary School in Cork. Association’s very successful wheelchair competition.
