Basketball
On the weekend of the 20th, Colaiste Lorcain's female and male cadet basketball teams competed in the all Ireland Schools' Basketball 1/4 finals.
Colaiste Lorcain hosted the event. A number of TY students participated in the event, includng Sophie Corcoran, Roisin Doran, Ciara Downey, Caitlin Farrell, Shauna Holden Leigh, Orla James, Emma O'Reilly, Conor Byrne, Harry Kirwan, Evan McAleer and, Aaron O'Neill. Colaiste Lorcains's male cadet team were victorius against Gaelcholaiste Cheatharlach.
Both teams performed extremely well on both days, remaining determined until the final buzzer. Needless to say the students participating were dedicated to the game.
Great support was given to the team by the entire school community. We wish a huge congratulations to all who participated in the event and wish them luck in the future!
