QHow do you relate to the character you play?

A.The character I played was very driven to her work. Although I personally I am very committed to the work I do, I am not as addicted or crazy. In the movie my character was over obsessed with her work and would do anything to get herself in a better position no matter whom she hurt. Personally I wouldn’t do this.

Q.When did your character not use self-control?

A.My character throughout the film didn’t use self-control in various occasions. For instance when she first met Andy she didn’t stop to think about what she said before she did it. The first thing she thought of she said. As well as this another main occasion was most of the time she was at work. She didn’t stop to think what was best for everyone but only thought about what would benefit herself.

QWhat are your personal thoughts on Andy throughout the film?

A.The character Andy changed a lot throughout the film. At the beginning she was nice and innocent, but that changed when she came into the fashion industry. She was influenced by her colleagues to change into what they were and how they acted. Throughout the film she forgot who she really was and who her real friends were.

QWhat do you feel your character is addicted to and why?

A.I believe the character that I played was addicted to her career. She spent all of her time at her job and forwarding her career. It was shown that my character was over the top committed to her responsibilities at Runway magazine. Not only was she addicted to her work but the industry and what it stood for altogether. She was addicted to nice clothes and looking good and she was addicted to not doing what she wanted but what her boss needed.

QHow do you think situations like the film play out in real life?

A Personally, I believe that situations like this occur a lot in the real world. Many people forget who they are and focus too much on their career. They forget whom they care about and who cares about them. They put all their time and effort into furthering their career. Many also forget about being civil and their morals, they don't care nor think about whom they have to hurt to get higher. I hate to think how someone could be so absorbed in their job that they could do this.

QWhat was the main message you believe the film was trying to express?

A I believe that the writers of the film were trying to project a very important message, a message that could potentially change someone’s life. This message being that never forget who you really are for a career or anything else. Don't get to caught up in something that doesn’t really matter and leave behind the people who do really care about you. I hope that it succeeded to tell people this and that they use it in their life.
