O Momma!
The Toddler

s the end of the month
approaches, I realize my
daughter’s birthday is
right around the corner! It’ll be
her second birthday. Oh LORD,
please give me the strength
and patience I need to handle a
two year old! I’ve heard plenty
about the “terrible two’s” and
really one and a half has been
hard enough!
My daughter can be sweet as
peaches, but she is spoiled.
She’s an only child so she hasn’t
had many opportunities to master the art of sharing yet. Originally, I didn’t want to put her in
daycare unless I absolutely had
no other choice! That’s thanks to
the overprotective momma lioness that has erupted inside of me
(maybe it could be from watching continuous, back to back Law
and Order the entire time I was
pregnant). However, at this point
I think it would be a good experience for her to get the chance to
play and interact with other kids
her age. I’m a firm believer that
there are things kids can teach
each other better than parents
