Brabham determines if an artist is a good fit for American Monster Guild by first doing his research on the artist . He begins by looking at the client as a whole . He asks himself , “ What can this person bring to AMG ?” Brabham digs into the social media sites to see the artist ’ s true background and raw persona . He looks at the person ’ s willingness to work and learn as well as listen . Devon works with some of the most top , well established , promoting companies so he requests that the artists be able to carry themselves in a professional manner and be able to communicate when talking with them . “ Young people don ’ t understand how the world of social media can make or break a person . Once you post it , it never goes away and I do not want that negative publicity for the artist or AMG .”

When asked how American Monster Guild got its name , Brabham chuckled and stated , “ The word “ American ” came about because we live in the great country called America . The word “ Monster ” describes the raw talent in oneself and “ Guild ” is a collection of individuals that need a little direction to become great .”
American Monster Guild promotes all types of artists to include r & b , pop , hip-hop , rock-n-roll , and a mixture of everything else . Brabham ’ s interest is in the person first then the style of music will come along after . When looking at new talent , Brabham is looking for an artist with the knowledge in the industry , intellectual conversation and someone who is not afraid to do research in the business . He requests that his artists have a stable platform of the field to include interest in their own loyalty . Brabham says that he bases this knowledge through his expectations of the artist to have a business plan with a marketing plan . “ If an artist is looking for a basic promoter or money manager , I am not that person . I need the artist to grow and learn the business to share the love of the business .”
Looking back , Brabham says that the highlight of his career is the interview that was done by CNN . He then recants and says , “ I don ’ t think I have just one highlight of my career . I can include working with Jay Smith from Sony Records . I have top showcases and I have consulted people in high places . I enjoy my Las Vegas showcases because they are at home , but I love to be that go to person that knows what American Monster Guild can do !”
American Monster Guild has recently signed an incredible agreement with Sony / Orchard . Brabham states that this opportunity came along through a sublabel deal through Birth Style Entertainment . It gave AMG the A & R opportunity and exposure that it needed to pioneer this deal . Brabham describes the Las Vegas market as being “ under ” exposed so this agreement will bring AMG out of the backdoor and into the lights !

Brabham does state that the biggest “ turn off ” is for an artist to drop a link on his social media page that was unsolicited .
When asked , “ Who is Devon Brabham ?” Brabham hesitated and then slowly begins to describe himself as a humble man to the industry . He has not had any formal training to deal with people or this industry and has had to learn it on his own . He solely built AMG which has opened his eyes to how hard it can be if one is not self-motivated . “ I have stepped into the role . I am the next wave of a music mogul . I have come into this on my own path . I am a music pioneer helping to raise the bar through AMG with a crisp , clear look . My inspiration comes from the death of my brother years ago . He was into music . It was the love of his life . I took that opportunity to focus on a positive aspect of death . I began to carve the way and stay focused on my inspiration . I first became a ghost writer , for over ten years and have worked with several great writers .” Brabham ends his self-explanation by stating , “ I want to be a legend .”
