Get A Hold of FUn grip B rad McEntire and Jeff Swearingen ride into T-Town, from Dallas, performing their longtime fan favorite improv show. They have performed as Fun Grip for over 8 years, across the nation. “When we started we were called Fun Dip, you know, like the candy.” McEntire says, “But we changed it when we got enough of a following. We didn’t want the candy company to find out about us and send goons to break our legs.” Both follow what they refer to as the Giant Robot school of improv. The standard kitchen-sink scenerios show up very seldom. More often than not, a Fun Grip set involves either Swearingen or McEntire (or both) playing an animal or ghost or disembodied head. Bonus Very playful, funny, and somewhat sadistic, Fun Grip will leave you wanting more. Check out their shows on Friday, January 31 @ 9pm and Saturday, February 1 @ 9pm. 2 Fun Grip Workshop Saturday, February 1 @ 2-5pm $30. Brad and Jeff will teach their brand of imanginative and playful long form improv. Go to ComedyParlor.com/Workshops for more info. TULSA PROPER
