TULIP AVENUE IN CENTRAL PARK & SUNKEN GARDENS PARK
Several thousand tulips are planted in these parks, including Tulip Avenue which showcases numerous different varieties that makes for great photo opportunities. Two blocks north on Main Street, Sunken Gardens offers a quieter, equally stunning escape. Bloom status hotline: 641-620- 9463, press 0.
SCHOLTE HOUSE GARDENS BROADWAY & WASHINGTON STREETS
Free and open to the public, the Scholte Gardens pack more than 35,000 tulips behind the historic Scholte House. Grab a bench, find a gazebo, and stay awhile.
FAIR HAVEN MEMORIAL GARDEN E. 3RD & UNION STREETS
A garden with a story worth knowing: these 13,000 + tulips descend from bulbs gifted by the Netherlands after WWII as a thank-you to Pella ' s citizens. Two monuments honor the 800 + local veterans who served.
CENTRAL COLLEGE 812 UNIVERSITY ST.
Nearly 15,000 tulips in 30 varieties bloom across Central ' s campus each spring. The plaza by Graham Conference Center is the showstopper, but keep walking— there are surprises at every corner.
BRINKHOFF PARK WASHINGTON ST. & FIFIELD RD.
Visit a photo op in the shape of a large wooden shoe! The shoe is large enough for groups and is wheelchair accessible for everyone to get the perfect picture!

Local farmer Meredith Nunnikhoven turns Scholte Church into an immersive flower experience— part art installation, part garden shop. Pre-order spring bulbs shipped to your door in fall. A portion of sales supports Pella Historical Museums.
