Technology Everywhere!

In this digital age, information is readily made available in the palms of our hands. When shopping, one may conduct research via a mobile device to find the best deal on a product before making a purchase. When in need of contacting a friend, peer, colleague, or family member, one may use a smart phone to call, text, email, instant message, or post on social media.

It is easy to see that technology is in fact everywhere. With WiFi accessibility, students are able to use mobile devices for various purposes -- especially in education. With best classroom practice and management, the smart phones most commonly perceived as distractions may become valuable assets. Web tools, apps, and even text messaging can become useful tools for research, productivity, reading, and student response systems.
