Creator of Wire and Tube News Passes Away
Paul Browne, the creator of Wire and Tube
News has passed away on the 7th December
2016 due to his long fight with cancer. Paul
spent most of his working career as a manager
in Intras Ltd, where over the years he gained
the solid trust of many in the industry with his
larger than life personality and his straight to
the point attitude.
In search for a more adaptable way to send news
around the world for the industries he created Wire
and Tube News Ltd, an online platform where both
smaller and larger company’s have the ability to
send in editorial free of charge, not only increasing
their coverage but also helping to increase traffic
to company’s websites.
his wife Gillat Browne devoted all their energy to
helping the poor. This Christmas he has paid for
5 of Warwickshire’s homeless to stay in a shelter,
receive medical care, food, a hot bed and a supply
of blankets and resources to help with surviving
the winter.
Paul’s daughter, Elle Browne took over Wire and
Tube News in January 2016 after Paul had decided
to retire.

family man, he was incredibly charitable - over
the last 14 months while fighting cancer he and
