T he
Community Schemes Ombud Service( CSOS), established by the Department of Human Settlements, has since its inception, robustly engaged with various stakeholders to promote its offerings, good governance and dispute resolution services within community schemes, sectional title schemes and homeowner associations through regulation and education services in adherence to the stipulations of the Community Schemes Ombud Service Act 9 of 2011.
The CSOS team is thrilled to showcase its services and to encourage community schemes registration through its association with the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon as an official sponsor in 2025.
The CSOS team has a pivotal role to fulfil from 2-6 April 2025. We call on Western Cape communities and other South Africans, community schemes, managing agents, institutions that provide property management programmes and media to be part of the Expo and marathon. The team will ensure that everyone experiences a sense of appreciation and support, from the moment participants and patrons meet them at the various sponsorship, Expo and community engagement stands. The CSOS mandate is primarily about bringing positive change in the lives of ordinary citizens and to foster community development and nation-building.
