are reading TimeSharing Today in front
of their favorite Mexican restaurant
while on exchange in Bandera, TX
of price breaks, better features, and a
terrifically better product if you sign on
today. Then they’ll take you on a tour of
their nearby resort and a top of the line
deluxe unit. There are so many presentations going on at once that almost always
there will be another family touring the
model unit at the same time as you are.
After the tour, you return to the salesroom when the salesperson will offer you
additional refreshments and the opportunity to go to the restroom. Usually the
salesperson will then offer one of the more
expensive products in their inventory.
Meanwhile, if any of the other parties
in the room decide to buy, there will be a
ceremonious cork popping and applause
for them. After some discussion, the salesperson will walk off and look for the closer
(always male in our three presentations),
who will come over when he has time and
offer some exciting discounts, meanwhile
signing off on your initial survey form to
show that you and the salesperson have
gone through the whole presentation.
Eventually, depending upon how
much interest you express, the closer will
leave, and then you discuss options with
the salesperson for awhile. Eventually, the
salesperson will say that they’re pretty
much finished, but before they can give
you the prize, some one from corporate
has a short survey that they must administer for quality control and to make sure
that the sale
