bedrooms is out over the swimming pool
and Isle of Wight Bay.
The second bathroom has a tub/
shower and was smaller than the master
bath, but very adequate. All of the linens
were of high quality.

areas. The resort offers free Wi-Fi in the
rooms for guests. The Internet connection
was easy to access. Art work throughout the
condo has a contemporary beach theme.
The only problem we had was when

the only baking sheet was a very well-used,
nasty-looking cookie sheet. We took it to

Area Explorations
We made two day trips to Salisbury,
MD, to shop at Boscov’s and the mall and
to visit the Salisbury Zoo, situated along the
river, and a lovely park. Salisbury is about
30 minutes west of Ocean City.
Another trip we did not take was to the
Dover Downs Casino in Dover, DE, a famous destination in this area. For an extended day or overnight trip, take the Cape May
ferry from Lewes, DE, to Cape May, NJ,
which is just 48 miles from Atlantic City.
The Casino at Ocean Downs in Berlin,
MD, is about 15 minutes west of Ocean
City. It’s very modern, smoke-free, and
was very busy even in this off season. Miniature golf courses dot Coastal Highway,
but most of them had not yet opened. For
those seeking a championship golf course,
the Ocean City area has 17 of them.
We took a walk on the beach the second day we were there. Seeing snow on
the sand was very strange. It reminded us
of some Florida beaches where the sand is

In warmer weather this area is full of
happy vacationers, boats and water-skiers
on the bay, and families having a fun vacation at a local beach. We missed the excitement of all of this, but coming here before
the summer season was kind of peaceful.
Plentiful wooden benches line the long,
wide boardwalk, and a concrete walkway
runs beside the wood boardwalk. The
beach is clean and wide. Amusement parks
are scattered around Ocean City, with the
largest ones on the south end of town.
We have visited over 100 timeshare resorts in our 32 years of timesharing, and we
were concerned that the resort might not be
as nice as advertised because we have been
disappointed when staying at pet-friendly
motels. Fortunately, the condo we stayed in

class. Evidently the resort is using the $100
pet fee to clean the units well after guests
with a pet leave.

20-year-old cat, Tiffany, with us on vacation. I think she enjoyed being there, but
with cats, who knows?
We would certainly recommend
this resort to anyone wanting to come to
Ocean City and be out of the oceanfront

Pointe On The Bay in the future—maybe
in warmer weather.
