A discussion of the ins and outs of renting
and selling a timeshare consumed much of the
Florida Timeshare Owners Group meeting in
Sarasota on March 22, 2015.
Many timeshare owners don’t realize that
they can rent out their timeshare and then use
the proceeds to rent from another owner, at no
out-of-pocket cost and without paying an exchange fee, said Brian Rogers, owner/administrator of the Timeshare Users Group (TUG).
Renting out a timeshare can cover
its maintenance fee, he said, and the lastminute rental forum on the TUG Web site
(www.tug2.net) offers $100 a night possibilities.
