Trips to the nearby grocery store and pharmacy reinforced the sense that we were temporarily living in the community rather than simply visiting as tourists. Friends staying in another unit frequently joined us for meals, creating the kind of shared experiences that make vacations especially memorable.

Because our visit coincided with Veterans Day, we proudly displayed an American flag from the balcony during our stay. Only a short distance away, the Museum of Military History became a destination Ron especially wanted to visit.
One afternoon, Becky took us to Disney Springs, which has changed dramatically from the Downtown Disney area we remembered from years ago. The massive entertainment and shopping district now includes countless restaurants, national retailers, and crowds of visitors moving constantly throughout the property. The Disney store alone was enormous, with long checkout lines filled with enthusiastic shoppers purchasing souvenirs and gifts.
