OW Reunion in Sydney 26 th September 2024 On an unseasonably cold and damp Thursday 26 September , a number of OWs currently living in Sydney , Australia , gathered at a bar under the Sydney Harbour Bridge for a drink and dinner with David Fellowes , previously Director of Win Coll Soc , who was passing through Australia on his roundthe-world trip . It was an evening of great conversation , meeting old friends and making new connections that continued until we were forced to leave when the bar closed . The award for the newest arrival goes to Freddie Egleston , who only flew into Sydney on the previous day but was eager enough to meet some fellow OWs to make it to our gathering .
Octogenarian Kennyite Reunion Lunch 24th October 2024

Noel Dobbs ( D , 50-55 ) writes :
On 24 th October 2024 , 10 Kennyites who joined the house between 1949 and 1954 met in the Dowgate Georgian Range at the Skinners ’ Hall , a Grade 1 listed building which has been closed for more than 2 years for a major refurbishment ( closely monitored by English Heritage ). Numbers were down compared to previous years for a variety of reasons ; however there are still 20 potential members in the group .
These lunches started in 2015 following a 60 Years On lunch , organised by Winchester College Society and attended by 9 Kennyites , who decided they liked each other enough to want to continue to meet . The first 2 lunches in 2015 & 2016 were also held at Skinners ’ Hall .
Inevitably old age has taken its toll , necessitating some topping up with younger Kennyites , but aiming to ensure that all were in Hall at the same time . This was the eleventh lunch , annual until Covid , since when they have taken place bi-annually .
L to R : John Swainston ( G , 63-67 ), Nathan Lam ( Coll , 14-19 ), Patrick Medley ( G , 70-74 ), Derrick Tin ( B , 94-99 ), Mikey Peet ( F , 05-10 ), Joey Vessey ( D , 98-03 ), Freddie Egleston ( D , 14-19 ), David Fellowes ( I , 63-67 ), Pasha Moradzadeh-Tehrani ( F , 13-18 ), Benedict Lowe ( D , 11-14 ), Simon Readhead ( A , 89-94 ), Jonathan Chalk ( K , 02-07 )
Judging by the smiling faces , animated conversations and the desire for these lunches to continue , these ancient Kennyites still like each other !
