Edinburgh Drinks . Thursday 5 th May 30 members of Win Coll Soc , including parents , past and present and OWs of all ages gathered on Thursday 5 th May at Bonnie & Wild in St James Quarter in Edinburgh . Despite the best efforts of GNER to delay proceedings , we all thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality offered through Charlie McAlpine , CEO of Bonnie & Wild and brother of Jamie ( F , 01-06 ).
Come & Sing . Saturday 21 st May On Saturday 21st May , the ranks of Chapel Choir were boosted by Friends , Old Quiristers and Old Wykehamists . The afternoon was spent rehearsing under the tutelage of Howard Ionascu , Director of Chapel Music , in preparation for choral evensong . The results lifted the spirits ( and nearly Chapel roof ) and included Parry ’ s anthem I Was Glad and The Magnificat to a setting by Dyson in D Major .
Bonnie & Wild 5th May
Under 30s Reunion : The Tattershall Castle , permanently moored beside the Victoria Embankment , was the location for a pleasurable reunion of OWs aged under 30 . Dr Mark Romans ( Co Ro , 00- ) and David Yeomans ( Co Ro , 04-22 ) entertained a number of their old charges . A Director ’ s Commendation goes to Linden Grigg and Pasha Tehrani ( Both F , 13-18 ), who travelled from St Andrews to attend .

Winchester College Watercolours . Guy Peppiatt ( G , 80-85 ) generously hosted an exhibition of Winchester College ’ s watercolours at his gallery in Mason ’ s Yard , St James ’ s over a fortnight in October . A private reception for OWs was held at Guy Peppiatt Fine Art on the evening of 5 th October .
