After being out of favour for years , Adam Lewis says asset allocators are singing the praises of the European market once more
While UK retail investors ploughed close to £ 820m into IA North America funds in the first two months of 2023 , the IA Europe ex UK sector suffered net outflows of close to £ 390m . Like most of the developed world , sentiment towards Europe has been hit by rising inflation and interest rates , meaning the MSCI Europe ex UK index ended 2022 down 7.6 %.
