Like with interactive investor , there are plenty of words but little interactivity at AJ Bell Youinvest . Its pensions homepage sends you off in several different directions – none of which are particularly engaging – and all end up banging on about a SIPP just a little too soon . If I were exploring a potential platform for my retirement portfolio , I ’ d find interactive investor and AJ Bell Youinvest a little overwhelming . They both have numerous features , a great investment selection and capable customer service , but there ’ s no real focus on retirement , which is a surprise as AJ Bell started as a SIPP administrator . The retirement part of these platforms could do with being reinvented on a dedicated site so that users could benefit from a more focused experience .
