All camps include Zoo walks , animal presentations , attraction rides and up-close encounters with Zoo ambassadors . Plus , our extended hours for parents continue through the winter ! Choose an option below based on your child ’ s grade level . Parents should provide a lunch and snack for their child each day .
FALL BREAK CAMP October 9 & 10
Pre-kindergarten – Kindergarten Nature ’ s Transformers Change is in the air ! We ’ ll take a closer look at the transformations in nature and explore the metamorphosis of insects , the life cycle of trees and the colors of the seasons .
Grades 1 – 3 Whoooo ’ s There ? Crickets chirp , coyotes howl and owls hoot ; discover the sounds of the forest and the animals that come out once the sun goes down .
Grades 4 – 6 Mythical Creatures : Halloween Edition In this special Halloween edition of Mythical Creatures , we ’ ll investigate the myths and legends of our favorite creatures .

Pre-kindergarten – Kindergarten Chill Out When the temperatures drop below freezing , it takes some cool adaptations to survive ! Learn how our favorite cold weather animals withstand the chill of the Arctic .
Grades 1 – 3 Animal Odyssey Discover the magical world of the northwest coast of America . Eagles fly and seals , whales and salmon swim the shores . Immerse in the art , songs , stories and cultural knowledge of the people who call the Olympic Mountains home .
Grades 4 – 6 Life in the Extreme Explore animals that have adapted to the harshest environments and try your hand at primitive skills like building shelters . Do you have what it takes to survive ?
