ZONE
Make way! Construction Ahead.
Exciting Changes.
As you visit the Zoo, you may notice detour signs near areas
that are under construction. Pay close attention near the
closed pathway from Gorilla Forest to Glacier Run, as well
as the closed pathway next to the African Outpost.
Signs will help guide you at detour intersections so
you can still visit your favorite exhibits. Exciting
additions are in progress including a brand
F
NEW snow leopard exhibit and a NEW African
primate exhibit — both slated to open in

2019. Learn more about the Zoo’s future

Train News
Due to the construction, the Louisville Zoo trains will not be
running through April (pending completion of construction in the snow
leopard exhibit area). We apologize for any inconvenience but know you will
love these new exhibits. Stay tuned for more updates on social media or via
our member e-newsletters (sign up at LouisvilleZoo.com/member).
Spring Hours!
Starting March 17, the Zoo will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (stay until 5 p.m.)
These hours will run through Sept. 23, 2018.
You're going to
love the innovative new
exhibits we have in store.
Just like the bear overpass
in Glacier Run, exhibits will
incorporate new passage-
ways that extend over guest
walkways — allowing you to
see the animals in a whole
new way and providing the
animals with more choices in
their daily activities.
Get Healthy Walking Club
Returning March 1 – Nov. 30, 2018.

of the Zoo for a challenging twist on the traditional “weekend stroll.” To become a member of
this free program just call Norton Healthcare at (502) 629-1234.
