VOLUNTEERS
Calling on groups with
members ages 15 and older...
Come Lend a Hand!
Are you looking for a group project, an opportunity for team
building or maybe just a chance to give back to your community?
We invite you to volunteer at the Louisville Zoo! Volunteering at
the Zoo is rewarding, fun and gives you the opportunity to enjoy
a beautiful natural setting.
Did you know that studies show volunteer programs drive
member engagement? In other words, groups that promote ac-
tive volunteer programs enjoy greater member satisfaction, higher
morale, and as a result, greater productivity and/or profi tability.
Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to encourage de-
velopment, communication and engagement in your group. Right
now, the Louisville Zoo is seeking volunteers in these areas:
Horticulture Department: Help us beautify our grounds and provide
a natural oasis for the community by assisting in mulching, pulling
grasses, planting bulbs and more around the Zoo!
Maintenance Department: Have a handy group of individuals? Help
us keep the Zoo in tip-top shape by assisting with painting, mending
fences and other odd jobs as needed.
"The World's Largest Halloween Party" presented by Meijer: Sign up
early to volunteer for the most fun event in Louisville. Spaces are limited!
The Zoo is a popular location for many different groups looking to
volunteer. We are proud to acknowledge just a few of many groups
who assist the Zoo every year including UPS, Humana, Mercy Acad-
emy, Target, Nur Islamic School and DuPont Manual Key Club.
