partners that you help support — International
Elephant Foundation (IEF).
Elephants are at risk primarily due to habitat loss,
poaching, illegal ivory trade and human-elephant conflict
issues. IEF’s mission is to support and operate elephant
conservation and education programs in managed facilities
and in the wild, with an emphasis on management,
protection and scientific research. Since 1999, IEF has
provided support to over 80 elephant conservation
projects worldwide [
