Make a splash at the Zoo during Water WOWS! Learn how
important water is to us and life on planet Earth. Our friends
from the Louisville Water Company will have several stations
set up throughout the Zoo full of fun hands-on activities and
information perfect for kids! Louisville Water Company mascot
Tapper will be making appearances throughout the day. Meet
and greet Peppa Pig. Be sure to bring your camera!
WAKY ROCK N’ ROLL
REUNION CONCERT
Saturday, Sept. 9; Concert begins at 1 p.m.
Come join us for the 7th Annual WAKY Rock ‘n
Roll Reunion Concert! Get ready for a trip back in
time as you enjoy live music from the best of 60s
and 70s Louisville rock 'n roll bands in the relaxing
atmosphere of the Zoo’s Oasis Field. Meet some of
your favorite WAKY on-air personalities. Bring a chair
or blanket and make a day of it! Food, beer and
wine will be available for purchase. This concert is
FREE with Zoo admission or Zoo membership. Band
