Proud to be your Zoo
By Kelly Grether, Director of Development
Your Louisville Zoo team works
hard to deliver the best care for
the animals and offer you a safe,
educational, enjoyable environ-
ment to create memories with your
family. We also strive to keep our
eyes looking forward, moving in a
strategic manner to best meet the
needs of our animal ambassadors,
conservation initiatives and you —
our dedicated supporters.
As we near the end of the year,
we ask that you consider making
the Zoo a priority in your philan-
thropic plans. Donations help round
out our annual financial needs,
support enrichment activities and
provide new, innovative exhibits and
experiences for our animals. Every
gift, regardless of size, can truly
make a difference.
Ways to support your Zoo:
• Make a gift to the Annual Fund
• Direct your 401K or IRA minimum
required distributions to the Zoo
• Become a Louisville Zoo Sustainer
Society Member
• Round up your next membership
renewal in support of the Annual
Fund
• Plan to upgrade to a Zoo license
plate the next time you renew car
tags
• Plan a Behind-the-Scenes Tour
• Become a teen or adult volunteer
• Dedicate a brick in the Etscorn
Garden
• Contribute appreciated stock

plans
