" Pandemic " a word most of us read about in history books - not something any of us thought we would deal with on a personal level , but then 2020 came . Covid-19 has impacted everyone in one way or another . Thanks to science and medicine , we are seeing a turn for the better and more things are returning to pre-pandemic conditions .
Although most of us would rather forget the past 12 months , there is one important thing that I believe we need to take away from all this : family and friends matter . We should appreciate all those special people in our lives because time really is a precious commodity .
The Troup community has continued to thrive due of the support you give to our local businesses . Thanks to everyone for stepping up and doing their best to be there in a time of need . I hope we continue to do so for years to come .
