The Golf Academy at Troon North
Troon North is also a destination for out of state visitors . We offer a full Golf Academy program that features programs in length of 1 to 5 days . All Golf Academies include coaching during the morning , lunch in the Dynamite Grille , and 18 holes of golf each afternoon . We wanted to make sure we had a program for guests of our partner , The Four Seasons Resort , to attend during their stay . Our Golf Academies are the perfect way for Arizona visitors to get a taste of everything Troon North Golf Club has to offer . In our 2022-23 season , we conducted 31 Academies with 75 total guests attending .

The Callaway Performance Center at Troon North
We wear many hats at Troon North , and one that we enjoy the most is fitting some of the best equipment in the game . We offer Callaway Performance club-fittings and have gained a recognition as a Top 100 Callaway Fitting Facility . We use Trackman Launch Monitors and SAM Puttlab to assist golfers in finding the perfect fit for their next set of clubs . We average 12-15 fittings per month which drives a good amount of hard good sales . But the bulk of our sales comes from our reputation as club-fitters and our students trusting us to keep their sets on the cutting edge of golf technology . Most of our clients have become very loyal Callaway brand ambassadors . One of our more popular programs has evolved from our partnership with Callaway . We conduct a short game clinic every month that includes 90 minutes of short game coaching AND a new Callaway Wedge . We offer different lofts and bounces and try to get a wedge in everyone ’ s hand that fits their game a bit better . The coaching portion covers trajectory control with wedges and bunker play . We sell these clinics out within a few minutes of announcing them and have inspired many other courses to follow suit . We are currently working on expanding our Callaway value add clinics for the coming season .
As you can see , we spend a lot of time coaching and club-fitting at Troon North . I am exhausted just writing about it . However , none of it would be possible without the dedication and hard work of our team . I have always tried to lead by example and work hard for our clients and our programs . Our Lead Instructor , Ryan Mahoney is an inspiration for his work ethic and dedication to our Junior and Women ’ s programs . We both spend countless hours on the range and love every minute of it ! Our Assistant Professional staff of Brian Therrien and Abigail Irwin have been key in supporting our programs and assisting when called upon . Additionally , they have been irreplaceable in managing our relationships with the Four Seasons and Village Health Clubs in taking on last minute requests for lessons . We hate to turn anyone away who wants to improve their game and myself and our entire staff has a tremendous dedication to our craft that is second to none . Successful coaching programs will not work without dedication to your students and willingness to work hard and put in the hours to help others achieve their goals .
