A LETTER FROM TIM MAHONEY

Dear Troon Coaches,
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to share some exciting updates from our Troon Coach community and highlight upcoming opportunities for growth and engagement.
Troon Coach Advisory Committee At our January 27, 2025, virtual meeting, we discussed key initiatives, including May 2025 Player Development, Teaching Technologies, and Troon Coach of the Year. As a result, Troon’ s social media channels in May will feature instruction tips from our Coaches and Partners, providing an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise.
Tim’ s Troon Coach Call On February 3, I hosted Alex Noren, who shared insights on preshot routines, speed training, and practice strategies. Chris Como will join us on April 28, followed by discussions on club fitting in May and a celebration of past Troon Coaches of the Year in June. These calls are a great way to gain insights from top professionals— be sure to tune in!
Troon Coach Summit – By Rapsodo On March 3-4, 2025, Golfzon Social in Scarsdale, NY, hosted an outstanding summit featuring industry leaders like Chuck Cook, Michael Jacobs, Monique Thoresz, Jonathan Yarwood, Michael Breed, and Robin Smyes. Their expertise reinforced the importance of continuous learning and adapting to new coaching techniques. Looking ahead, we are excited for the Southwest Troon Coach Summit at Lomas Santa Fe on June 26-28, 2025!
