Audience members know the consequences, and may choose whether or not to participate. The many DIY band shows were paramount to this heavy music scene. Metal focused shows such as, “Halloween Hellraise” and “The Descent,” as well as a regular showcase series, “Weekend Warriors,” gave rockers of all ages an opportunity to showcase or enjoy the live talent.
