A BIG FAREWELL
After 11 years of living large , Revelle ’ s “ Big Red Chair ” behind Galbraith Hall succumbed to the elements , after wood rot and rusted metal deemed it too unsafe to stay . Scenic designer Caleb Levengood , MFA ’ 07 created the piece in 2007 as a theatric concept of Mt . Olympus . ( Don ' t fret — the Stuart Collection piece Red Shoe is still kickin ’ nearby .)
