Brendan Eckelman , Warren , MS ’ 02 , PhD ’ 07 , was awarded the Life Science Catalyst Award by Biocom , a biotechnology trade group . Eckelman is the chief operating officer and vice president of biotherapeutics at InhibRx , a biotechnology company in La Jolla .
2003
Francie Barron , Revelle , was awarded the Life Science Catalyst Award by Biocom , a biotechnology trade group . Barron is the vice president of biology and regulatory affairs at Nanomedical Diagnostics in San Diego .
Shannon Casey , Marshall , was named one of San Diego Metro Magazine ’ s “ 40 Under 40 .” Casey is the vice president of Cleantech San Diego , a trade organization focused on the promotion of sustainable technology .
Jeff MacGurn , Revelle , is vice president of digital technology at Jerome ’ s Furniture in San Diego .
Kristin Molle , Muir , studied the endangered golden lion tamarins in Brazil with Miami University ’ s Global Field program . Molle is a senior program specialist at Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey , California .
Lindsay Stevens , Marshall , was named one of San Diego Metro Magazine ’ s “ 40 Under 40 .” Stevens is a trial attorney for Gomez Trial Attorneys in San Diego .

Cassie Burdyshaw , Revelle , is a policy director for Turtle Island Restoration Network ( TIRN ), a nonprofit organization focused on ocean conservation . Burdyshaw works with undergraduate students at UC San Diego through TIRN ’ s internship program .
Rosanna Delurgio , Muir , was inducted into the 2017 UC San Diego Athletics Hall of Fame . Delurgio was a Triton swimmer and diver from 2001-2005 and was an eight-time NCAA Division II national champion .
Todd Harris , MS , was awarded the Life Science Catalyst Award by Biocom , a biotechnology trade group . Harris is the head of corporate development at Sienna Biopharmaceuticals in Westlake Village , California .

Regina Marchi , PhD , coauthored a book , Young People and the Future of News : Social Media and the Rise of Connective Journalism , published by Cambridge University Press .
Arsalun Tafazoli , Muir , opened Born & Raised , an upscale steakhouse in Little Italy , San Diego . Tafazoli is the cofounder of the restaurant group Consortium Holdings .
