Bennet Fisher , MFA , came in second-place for a Samuel Goldwyn Writing Award for his play Damascus , part of the 2016 Wagner New Play Festival in La Jolla .
Gwendal Le Fol , MAS , is a translator , consultant and fisheries specialist at Ocean Environment Consulting and Translation in La Jolla .
Zeyuanyu ( Zoey ) Long , MIA , is a customs specialist at Qualcomm Inc . in San Diego .
Jesca Prudencio , MFA , received the very first Julie Taymor World Theater Fellowship , which provides travel opportunities for enterprising young theater directors .
Keith A . Wallace , MFA , was awarded with the 2016 Princess Grace Award in the category of Theater and Playwriting . He has since continued to work on his trilogy of solo plays about the contemporary experience of Black Americans .
