THE PEOPLE OF PRINT
“ The Guardian office became my home base on campus – the first place I stopped when I arrived and the place from which I usually left . … I can honestly say that The Guardian directly shaped the direction of my life . I went straight from that Student Center office to a full-time job at a local newspaper two weeks after graduating from UCSD . The work I started there is what I ’ ve been doing ever since , and what I plan to do for the rest of my career .”

“ As a team , we managed to investigate grievances against university administration , be first at the scene of campus protests , raise awareness about fee increases , update students on changes to university facilities , and so much more — all while being fulltime undergraduate students .”
