Students at Roosevelt College can now take a faculty member or graduate teaching assistant to coffee or tea at one of five select locations on campus for free . It ’ s a valuable , no-excuse opportunity for undergrads to cultivate a student-faculty relationship outside of the classroom .
FINDING REFUGE AT REVELLE
What would you grab with only minutes to pack your belongings ? In October , Revelle College students learned just that at the “ Return to Sender ” event , which offered immersive activities like obstacle courses to creatively relate the experience of refugees .
SPEAK UP !
An estimated 75 percent of all people experience fear or anxiety when public speaking . In November , Warren College students participated in a workshop for undergrads to learn confidence in delivering professional presentations , along with techniques for overcoming stage fright and anxiety .
