Brigette Browning , Revelle , is the executive secretary-treasurer of the San Diego-Imperial Counties Labor Council , representing 200,000 nurses , teachers , firefighters and other workers .
Karen Knudsen , PhD , is CEO of the American Cancer Society and its advocacy affiliate , the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network ( ACS CAN ). She is the first female CEO for the American Cancer Society .

Pam Hardy , Roosevelt , is senior manager for corporate communications at Illumina , Inc .

Mercedes Munoz , Marshall , was appointed associate vice chancellor of campus budgets at UC San Diego .
Gene Sandan , Marshall , is associate vice provost of advising and career services at Portland State University .

Khamphet Pease , Revelle , a math teacher from Wilson Middle School in San Diego , was named among 117 teachers , mentors and mentoring organizations nationwide who received a Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching or Mentoring .

Linda Yaron Weston , Roosevelt , wrote Mindfulness for Young Adults : Tools to Thrive in School and Life which she utilizes to teach young adults to face the challenges , in and out of the classroom , in the Introduction to Mindfulness courses she teaches at the University of Southern California .

Ana M . Farina , Roosevelt , History , principal at Willis Jepsen Middle School in Vacaville , Calif ., was presented with a state and national commendation from The California Schools to Watch for model middle schools that are academically excellent , developmentally responsive , socially equitable and foster a culture of collaborative leadership .
Jade Griffin , Roosevelt , is director of public relations for Advancement at UC San Diego .

Lyon Liew , Revelle , was the lead technical director for simulation for the Pixar Studios animated film , Turning Red . He and his team were responsible for making clothes , hair , props and ( most importantly ), giant red panda fur , look realistic . Turning Red is streaming now on Disney +.
2004
Kari Williamson , Marshall , was promoted to member at Childs McCune Attorneys , a civil litigation firm . This promotion builds on her nearly 10-year career as a Colorado State Public Defender , where she gained recognition defending 65 trials to verdict .
2005
Jenelle Dean , Revelle , is the community engagement manager at KPBS in San Diego .
Chandara Diep , Marshall , counsel at RJS LAW , was listed in San Diego Metropolitan Magazine ’ s annual “ 40 under 40 ” list .
