Triton Leaders Conference 2022
UC San Diego ’ s fifth annual Triton Leaders Conference was presented virtually , February 4 and 5 , to a global audience . Building on the previous year ’ s theme of advancing equity , the conference dug deeper and made new discoveries through the lens of allyship in an effort to achieve a more equitable and inclusive future for all .

PEACE Uche ’ 09 , PharmD ’ 13 , transformational rhythmic speaker , followed with a powerful appeal to encourage greater connections among each other . “ It ’ s what the Triton Leaders Conference is all about — kindness , justice , inclusion and embracing diversity ,” she says . “ Disconnected is not what we ’ re meant to be .”
Chancellor Pradeep K . Khosla welcomed a global Triton community , including alumni , students , parents and friends , and emphasized UC San Diego ’ s continued commitment to an inclusive community . “ While the past two years have tested our fortitude , our entire community has come together to face the pandemic , violence and political division . Throughout these challenges we have examined our values , confronted our biases , and reaffirmed our commitment to equity , diversity and inclusion .”
