READY TO LAUNCH

The alumni network went up — way up — at All-Campus Commencement this summer , as approximately 9,300 Tritons in the Class of 2019 brought alumni ranks above 200,000 worldwide . ( L – R , from top ) Chancellor Pradeep K . Khosla gave grads a hand at the ceremonies while former U . S . Secretary of State Madeleine Albright encouraged tolerance and mutual respect in her keynote address . Fifty-year alumni from the Class of 1969 were there to welcome graduates with a special Sun God pin , and School of Medicine alumni of all years celebrated the newest crop of skilled doctors . Finally , a new graduate takes the Triton place — head and shoulders above the crowd .
