More than 2,500 Tritons and their families returned to UC San Diego this summer for Alumni Weekend 2018 . Alumni from all over the country gathered to take in the city ’ s sights , exciting campus activities and class reunions . Missed it ? Come back for the all-new UC San Diego Homecoming this October 19-21 !

01 . Dana Gibson , a military veteran and current structural engineering student , shares her idea to create a marketplace for sustainability at Triton Entrepreneur Night , hosted by The Basement UC San Diego .
02 . Alumni stepped back in time to Party at the Pub formerly known as Porter ’ s — now the forthcoming home of alumni-owned restaurant and watering hole , Soda & Swine .

03 . The Class of 1968 returned to campus for their 50th anniversary at 64 North at Revelle College . Chancellor Pradeep K . Khosla ( center ) and EVC of Academic Affairs Elizabeth H . Simmons ( center right ) celebrated this pioneering class of grads .
04 . The third annual Camp Sun God brought Triton families together to play lawn games , dance , sing , eat barbecue and slurp some watermelon . New this year : a 3-D printing activity center for young makers-to-be !
05 . Alumni spent a Day at the Padres at Petco Park , enjoying pregame activities , tasty barbecue and more ! It was a family affair for ( L-R ) Kent Lee ’ 07 ; his wife , Phuong Lee ’ 09 ; mom , Khen Huyhn ; daughter , Alynna Lee ; and dad , Tam Nguygen .
06 . Explorers , healers , innovators and changemakers were honored at a special 40 Under 40 Celebration to mark the 40th year of the UC San Diego Alumni awards .
