ALUMNI WEEKEND 2017
In June , Tritons of all ages returned to campus for UC San Diego ’ s 9th annual Alumni Weekend festivities . More than 2,300 alumni and friends attended 37 events over four days .
01 . Sharon Moxon ’ 91 , is immersed in a synchronized art projection at Art + Cocktails , hosted at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego . Alumni and guests mingled , danced and lit up the night .
02 . Kids of all ages enjoyed the 2nd annual Camp Sun God , hosted on the Sun God Lawn . Guests enjoyed summertime lawn games , music , BBQ , and of course , a watermelon-eating contest .
03 . Celebrated artist Carrie Mae Weems , MFA ’ 84 , inspired alumni and friends with a discussion of her life ’ s work at Art + Cocktails .
04 . Chancellor Pradeep K .
