When one thinks of a quintessential Kentucky high school basketball fan , Troy Martin would be at the pinnacle of that list . Every season , you can find him watching every game of the Sweet Sixteen dating back to 1982 . During his outstanding 40 year dedication to high school sports , he can be found in the gym throughout Eastern Kentucky counties . From the WYMT Classic to the 13th Region tournaments and across all athletic programs , his commitment has been , and is , unwavering . Troy has received awards for his Lifetime Community Service for Student Athletes in Laurel County and by the 13th Region Hall of Fame . Our Eastern Kentucky counties have an exceptional man fostering the needs and dreams of all our local athletes in Troy Martin . We ’ re lucky we have him , both as a fan and supporter , of our athletes .
