About the National Tour Association
NTA: AN INDUSTRY LEADER SINCE 1951
The National Tour
Association’s
tour operator
members move
approximately 15 million travelers a year to, from and within
North America. These tourism professionals belong to NTA to
further their education, expand their network of partners and
collaborate with other members—destinations, attractions,
hotels and restaurants—to bring their customers unforgettable
travel experiences.
Founded in 1951, NTA has members who represent all 50
states, every Canadian province, Mexico and more than 45
other countries worldwide. Its 600 tour operator companies
range from smaller, family-owned businesses to larger entities
that work with hundreds of thousands of travelers per year.
Many of these experienced industry veterans specialize in
different segments of travel such as faith-based, culinary,
adventure and more to make the planning process easy
for you.
Operators who belong to NTA have been in business an
average of 23 years and must maintain at least $1 million in
general liability insurance, which gives you peace of mind
knowing you’re working with an established, qualified
tour company .
NTA tour operators take student groups all over the world, including to Lake Louise, Alberta.
