Birth House Luther was born on November 11,
1483, into a mining family. His home is now a
museum with artifacts including a baptismal font
dating to 1518, two pre-Reformation Bibles and a
lectern he is said to have used.

Luther House Luther lived with the Cotta family
when he was a young school boy, and their home
is now a museum that focuses on Luther as a
student, reformer and Bible translator.

18, 1546, in a home across from St. Andrews
Church, where he preached his final sermon on
Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are
weary, and I will give you rest.”
