56 This includes, but is not limited to: - Instructors, including full-time professors, adjunct professors, lecturers, associate instructors, and others who offer classroom instruction or office hours to students - Advisors - Coaches, trainers, and other athletic staff who interact directly with students - Student affairs administrators - Professional residential hall staff - Residential Directors - Employees who work in offices that interact with students - Supervisors and university officials Retaliation: Intimidation, threats, harassment, adverse changes in work or academic environments—or other adverse actions threatened or taken against a complainant or a third party—in an attempt to retaliate against, prevent, or otherwise obstruct the reporting of sexual misconduct. REQUESTS FOR RECONSIDERATION/APPEAL: Once written notification of the resolution has been provided, both the reporting party and the responding party will have the opportunity to request reconsideration of the result, including the issue of whether a policy violation occurred, and any sanction(s) imposed. Any request must be submitted in writing to the Title IX Coordinator within seven (7) calendar days after the party is notified in writing of the resolution and must set forth the grounds upon which the request is based. The Title IX Coordinator or another designated university representative shall resolve the request. Neither the reporting party nor the responding party will be entitled to a hearing in connection with any request for reconsideration, but the university may request written submissions from either party or consider any other information as deemed appropriate by the university. Both parties will be informed in writing of the outcome of any 6 request for reconsideration within fourteen (14) days of the date by which all requested information is received, unless the university determines that additional time is required.
