LOTS OF EXCITEMENT IN STORE FOR 2023 IN CORBIN

We asked the Mayor of Corbin Suzie Razmus what gems lie within Corbin , both old and new , for visitors and locals alike .
" 2022 was a year of waiting for us ," Razmus shared . " I feel like we are finally going to be able to open the big Christmas package in 2023 ." Cumberland Run is scheduled to host races this fall . " I can ' t wait to see that ," Razmus declared . She spoke on multiple recreational activities coming this summer and beyond . Miller Park is finally going to be open to the public this spring . Page 6 — The Times-Tribune • Community Guide 2023 and play disc golf again ." The community pool will be opened this summer with new updates , a place Corbin locals have enjoyed for years . Corbin will be receiving a safe-streets-for-all federal grant of
$ 166,000 .
" We are going to be able to have share roads for bicyclists ," Razmus said . " We have a nice route planned out in the east part of town that is flat and quiet . This will be a place where you can go out and ride with your family and not feel uncomfortable ."
The bicycle route will include landmarks like the library , Engineer Street Bridge , the rec center , Rotary Park , the pool , middle school , and the dog park .
Razmus discussed the ongoing outdoor activities Corbin always has offered .
" I personally , love to hike the trails around Cumberland Falls ,"
