" It ' s amazing how much this town has grown ," Mayor Roddy Harrison said . " It ' s time for others to experience what our town has to offer ."
The growing town of Williamsburg has opened over a dozen businesses in 2022 alone . Enjoy the historic downtown area that is home to local eateries and a great placed to take a walk and enjoy local culture .
The food will not disappoint . The town offers something for everyone from restaurants owned and ran by locals including Mexican food , pizza , coffee and even a local donut shop .
However , the biggest attractions Williamsburg has to offer is hard to miss . Right off Exit 11 on Interstate 75 is The Mint Gaming Hall and the Kentucky Splash Waterpark . Both establishments offers fun that can keep you busy for days .
" The Mint opening up has brought a lot of people to Williamsburg ," Harrison said . Additionally the waterpark this season will feature a new six-slide attraction and a kiddie pool that opened at the end of last season , fully equipped for the kiddos to enjoy some fun in the sun ."
The Water park also features a camp ground , mini golf and a driving range .
Need a break from the heat ? Check out The Mint Gaming Hall and try your luck at some games or enjoy live music on the weekends . Holidays can be extra special at The Mint . Visitors are going to be able to enjoy multiple days in Williamsburg . " Our goal is to always maintain our city motto . Williamsburg feels like home ." Harrison said .
